Growing up in a small town, there were never many options for t-shirts and sweatshirts with the town's name, and the few that exist are a very basic and plain design. Due to the lack of options that existed, I made the decision to create my own design that I could silk screen onto either a t-shirt or a sweatshirt.
One of the main differences between this design and the other designs that exist presently is the number of colors used, and the significance of those colors. I have made the desicion to print the design on maroon colored fabric, while utilizing grey, white, and black inks. These are the colors that represent the school district's colors. Due to multiple colors being used, this design will be a three layer print, where each color is printed on top of the other. The order will be grey on the bottom, black in the middle, and then white on the top (where the white is being represented in grey, so that the design is visible).
Lastly, is the mock-up that I have done to show how the t-shirt is going to look once it is printed.
